OUR STORY
Pure Vermont.
I founded Mount Holly Beer in 2020 while working remotely from Vermont on a London based trading floor. 3am to 2pm I would sell stocks… & 2pm to 7pm I would sell beer… It was a wild ride & a lot of hours but I loved every minute of it.
It was two years before I was able to leave my trading floor gig and go into beer full time. We now have a small team of incredible people and have customers across Vermont & Connecticut that we love to work with.
Our goal from the beginning has been to use hand-selected ingredients, grown by farmers we know personally to make the absolute best beer possible. Deliveries always originate at the brewery, I hate the idea of our precious brew sitting in a warm warehouse somewhere.

Our beers
-
The Green Stand
This Vermont IPA features two classic American hops that we adore. Expect tasting notes of tangelo, dried mango & pleasant passion fruit.
The name THE GREEN STAND is an homage to the first tavern built in Mount Holly by General Joseph Green in 1783. An absolute icon in his day and a lover of all the finer things. Like an ice cold Green Stand.
“Drinks like a lager but has all the flavor of a Vermont IPA!” -
Green Mountain Gold
A hazy IPA featuring a trio of American and Kiwi hops.
Tasting notes of cheerful stone fruit, orange marmalade & white grape skins that is sure to please!
Brewed with spray-free local oats which we pair with a special blend of grains for an ultra smooth mouthfeel.
Vermont’s Gold Standard. -
Mike's Magic Mix
This brew is inspired by our annual hop harvest trip, a defining moment each year which shapes how our IPA’s will taste over the next twelve months.
Mike is a flavor maximizer unlike any other and was kind enough to assemble this field blend for us as a celebration of the harvest season.
Without further ado, we present to you a mixture like you’ve never tasted before. -
Mountain Town
A single origin lager brewed with a sun kissed barley from California. Our step mash program maximizes fermentability for a clean mouthfeel, Pours clear and golden.
We paired these special grains with Tettnang hops grown by Florian Seitz in Germany.
Reminiscent of fresh mint, vanilla and wildflowers.
